Good Old Dick Dan

General Sir Richard Dannatt in the news again saying that as a leader he has a duty to prepare his soldiers for the spiritual afterlife. Fairly reported in the Times, but I notice that no quotes yet from the Secular Society (news probably came too late) who would be up in arms at his comments. But, praise God, a Christian in a secular job who is not afraid to let his faith shape his approach to his work.

My hat's off to the General. These days we as Christians are so afraid to 'offend the Muslims' that we hide the truth of the Precious Love of Jesus under the rug. If Christianity isn't true, what does it hurt to believe in CHRIST? But SINCE IT IS, we NEED to prepare our troups to meet the SAVIOUR. God Bless the General.

Telling someone there's an afterlife before you ask for volunteers to rish their lives is an act of fraud. If you want to believe in heaven then that's your prerogative, but you can't use your beliefs this way unless you can PROVE them. Even if you turn out to be right, it remains unethical.

Look around you People, Nobody can deny that this country could benefit from a return to our traditional Family centred British, Christian
