Modern Reformation

I am always on the look out for good reading material (especially mags and journals) but, frankly, there is little that is deep, thought provoking, educational, stimulating and orthodox. However, at the Affinity conference, we were given a free copy of a mag called "Modern Reformation" which is a US mag available for $58 for a print sub. Not cheap - but it is good. Our free issue contained the start of a series on 10 ways modern culture is different because of Calvin (this issue: education and social action). Also a good article by a home grown guy - David Gibson on why expository preaching should be a standard for evangelicals.

The contributing editor board gives a bit of hope that this is going to be a good pub: Bray, Carson, Dever, Duncan, Hagner, Helm, Piper, Riddlebarger, Ryken, Sproul, Trueman etc.
